Welcome to 2021 and the spring semester at Brunswick Community College! We have a few library updates to share.
Current Hours
As we first reported in December 2020, we are still single staffing in the library based on current BCC COVID-19 protocols. There are still plenty of ways to get help, though!:
Booking Library Spaces
It’s still a good idea to book your library reservation in advance, just to make sure we have space for you when you need it while we are operating at limited capacity: https://brunswickcc.libcal.com/reserve/

If you need a library space within the next 24 hours, though, you should call ahead (910-755-7331) as the online system will not work for same-day appointments.
Amnesty
Got overdue library books?! Now is the time to return them to take advantage of our library late fines amnesty. We appreciate that COVID-19 is making everything more difficult – and it can be hard to get out to campus when your classes are mostly online. So we are relaxing our fine system between now and the start of the fall 2021 semester. Bring your overdue books back now – you can hand them to us in person during our spring 2021 operating hours, you can drop them in our Circulation Desk book slot, or you can drop them in our blue 24/7 book drop located outside Building A, under the main staircase – and any fines will be forgiven! (The only exception to this amnesty are any fees associated with lost or damaged materials.) So, new year, clear account!
Dolphin Tales
Past issues of BCC’s literary magazine, Dolphin Tales, produced by the ACE Lab, are now available electronically via the Library Portal. And don’t miss the latest issue, edited by Niko Giammanco!

Feel free to drop by at any point during our operating hours to get your ID.
