Library Card & Borrowing

• Get a Library Card: Present a current driver’s license or photo ID and a utility bill with a Brunswick County address.

• Borrowing Limits: Check out up to 5 total items from our circulating materials.

• Loan Period: 4 weeks.

• Interlibrary Loan (ILL):

  • Request up to 5 books (part of your 5-item total) from other NC community colleges via NCCC Evergreen.

  • Request items not owned by BCC Library through interlibrary loan.

• Suggest a Purchase: Recommend materials you'd like the library to consider adding to the collection.

Digital Resource Access

• Off-Campus Access: Due to multifactor authentication requirements, only users with BCC technology credentials can access digital resources off campus.

• On-Campus Access: All digital resources are available to anyone using a campus computer.

Technology & Printing

• Computer Use: Check in at the Circulation Desk iPads before each computer session.

• Copying: Copies are now free, with a limit of 10 pages per day per person.

• Scanning: Free (requires a personal flash drive).
