Physical Materials (Books, A/V, etc.)
- Physical interlibrary loan materials are requested via CCLINC by placing holds on the desired items
- Not every requested item will be loaned (new books, textbooks, and audiovisual items are usually ineligible)
- Physical interlibrary loan materials typically arrive within 3 to 5 business days; but they can take longer
- Physical interlibrary loan materials should be returned to BCC Library on or before the specified due date
- Physical interlibrary loan materials are not always eligible for renewals
- For physical materials not owned by CCLINC member libraries, local library collections will need to be consulted by individual users; WorldCat.org can help locate materials locally
Electronic Materials (Articles, Chapters, etc.)
- Electronic interlibrary loan materials are requested via the ILL request form
- Not every requested item will be fulfilled
- Electronic interlibrary loan materials typically arrive within 1 to 2 business days; but they can take longer
- Electronic interlibrary loan materials do not need to be returned to BCC Library
- For electronic materials not accessible by CCLINC member libraries, local library collections will need to be consulted by individual users
